Wyatt Earp, the only man to emerge from the gunfight at the O.K. Corral unharmed, died on January 13, 1929 in Los Angeles, CA, at the age of 80. Best known for his part in the gunfight at the O.K. Corral during which three outlaw Cowboys were killed. The 30-second gunfight defined the rest of his life.
While the Wild West lawman participated in many gunfights, it is alleged that he never sustained a gunshot wound.
